MISSED OUT on Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour”?
After it was announced that Taylor Swift would not be coming to the Philippines for the Asia leg of The Eras Tour, Filipinos soon started buying tickets to Singapore and Japan just to be able to see the artist perform.
Data released by the travel and experience app Klook even showed that Filipinos were the top buyers globally of Klook ticket bundles for Swift’s tour in Singapore, with over 10 million users worldwide joining the queue.
Not everyone, however, was able to attend Swift’s concerts abroad, which saddened many of her Filipino fans.
If you feel like you’ve missed out on the T-Swift experience, you can get tickets for “Lover: An Eras Tour Experience”, which is scheduled to happen at the New Frontier Theater on December 15, 2024, at 8:00 PM.
Ticket prices are as follows:
- Orchestra VIP: PHP 4, 770
- Balcony VIP (Lodge): PHP 4, 505
- Orchestra B: PHP 3, 975
- Balcony 1: PHP 3, 710
- Orchestra C: PHP 3, 445
- Balcony 2: PHP 2, 915
Ticket selling started last October 12th. Take note, however, that it will not actually be Taylor Swift performing.
About the concert
In the promotion video released by Concert Republic, they explained that this performance was meant to honor Swift’s record-breaking tour.
It is set to feature songs like “Lavender Haze”, “Anti-Hero”, “Love Story”, “Style”, “Are You Ready For It”, “Long Live”, and “Cruel Summer”. Tickets for the show, at present, are still available and will be up for sale until December 15, 2024, at 6:00 PM.
Performing at the event will be Charity Eden alongside her team. Philippine Concerts explains on their Facebook page that Eden and her team have meticulously crafted a show that captures the essence of Swift’s tour from the costumes, and the choreography, up to the unforgettable music defining each era.
“Every detail has been considered, making audiences feel as if they’ve stepped into a live Taylor Swift concert,” they added.
“Now, Filipino fans will have the opportunity to relive the magic of the Eras Tour live in Manila. Whether you’re a die-hard Swiftie or a casual fan, this show is designed to leave you “Enchanted.””
Who is Charity Eden?
Charity Eden is a Texas-based musician who has long been part of a Taylor Swift tribute act called “Lover”.
According to the Dallas Observer, she became a Swiftie back in 2022, following the release of “Midnights”. In March of 2023, she attended The Eras Tour and has since made a name for herself in staging recreations of The Eras Tour in different places from all around the world.
She started this in hopes of bringing Swift’s tour to more audiences worldwide and does her best to recreate the show through her vocals, even playing both the guitar and the keyboard in real time.
