Wanderland Aftermath: The Highlights of Post-Festival Blues

by Jamie Navarro

Many of us experience Post-Concert Depression (PCD) after a 2-3 hour concert, but with Wanderland— a two-day festival? Well, it’s intensified for sure. It’s like 10 times stronger. After experiencing countless musical acts and immersing ourselves in a vibrant art community, the post-festival blues can linger for maybe more than a month.

Let’s walk through the festival’s best parts and vibe about it together:

1. Rewatch fancam clips of your favorite musical acts

With a trusty smartphone always in hand, there’s no missing the chance to record from our own  perspective  of beloved artists or discover new ones we might not know yet, turning them into new favorites. New songs added to our playlist. Two favorite and special moments for us:

a. Hearing Daniel Caesar’s new unreleased song “Baby Blue”

b. Mayonnaise giving us the ultimate OPM set, giving the festival a nostalgic feel

2. Relive the vibes with all the pics you snapped

After all that prep, you finally got to bring your festival moodboard to life, and now you’ve got the photos to turn it into a memory album

3. Rocking Wanderland merch for a week (or more)

We’re obsessed with the cutest, quirkiest festival merch. From tote bags and shirts to colorful hats, and the Wanderbob blindbox has 3 exclusive festival versions.

There’s still some merch left after the festival! If you missed out on getting a souvenir, now’s your chance to bring home a memorabilia. Visit Wanderland’s official pages to learn more.

4. Seeing the artists’ take on their performance through their posts

It’s not just about hearing our faves perform— it’s also about the real, down-to-earth interaction that makes the moment unforgettable with the Filipino crowd. Some of our favorite moments:

a. Dayglow frontman, Sloan Struble wearing a Jollibee t-shirt over a Jollibee uniform during their performance

b. The Paper Kites mentioning the iconic “Okay na ‘to” after fine tuning his guitar + a surprise duet with Moira Dela Torre

C. Honne’s “sobrang Latina!”

Wanderland offers so many unforgettable experiences, making the post-festival blues hit hard. It’s a reminder of the deep connection we have with music. After the exhilarating highs of a weekend filled with music, there’s a bittersweet feeling that lingers. While the sense of emptiness after the festival is real, the beauty of the experience is that it stays with you and sets you up for the excitement of the festival next tear.
