WANDERLAND Music and Arts Festival will celebrate a big milestone this year—its 10th edition, which will be graced by some well-known music acts locally and internationally!
Organizers of the highly anticipated music and arts festival dropped on Wednesday, January 29, the complete names of the performers for Wanderland 2025, and topping the list are Canadian singer-songwriter Daniel Caesar and English electronic music duo HONNE.
Caesar is set to headline the first day of the festival, which will be held on March 22, while HONNE will be the main performer on its second day, March 23. The two-day event will be held at Filinvest City Events Grounds in Alabang, Muntinlupa.
Joining Caesar on the first day are Australian singer-songwriter Chet Faker, indie pop artist Dayglow, Original Pinoy Music (OPM) bands Mayonnaise and Sinosikat?, Korean indie duo 92914, Singaporean singer-songwriter Regina Song, OPM singer TONEEJAY, rising Pinoy band ALYSON, and Pinoy hip-hop artist WAIIAN.
HONNE, meanwhile, will be joined by American pop rock Plain White T’s, Australian indie rock band The Paper Kites, Pinoy rock bands Urbandub and Dilaw, Australian electronic-hip-hop duo Hermitude, Chinese singer Yung Kai, atmospheric indie rock band PRYVT, Thai singer-songwriter Mindfreakkk, and OPM band Nameless Kids.
The republicasia team was one of the attendees at the 2024 Wanderland Music and Arts Festival, which was headlined by American singer-songwriter Jack Johnson and musician Thundercat.
The team witnessed South Korean star and MAMAMOO member Hwasa’s debut as a solo artist at a Philippine festival, performing her hit songs “Maria,” “I Love My Body,” and “Don’t.”
Several local bands also graced the event, including Lola Amour who performed its viral song “Raining in Manila.”
Meet the headliners
This won’t be the first time Caesar and HONNE will perform at Wanderland Music and Arts Festival. To recall, he was part of the lineup of performers during its 2018 edition.
Caesar is known for his hit song “Best Part”—his collaboration with Filipino-American singer H.E.R. He also joined forces with Justin Bieber for the song “Peaches,” which also featured American singer Giveon.
The 29-year-old singer has been creating catchy songs that would get listeners into the feels since 2014, including “Get You (feat. Kali Uchis),” “Superpowers,” and “Hold Me Down.”
He last met his Filipino fans in July 2023 for the Manila leg of “Superpowers” tour in Pasay City.
Meanwhile, HONNE, composed of Andy Clutterbuck and James Hatcher, performed at Wanderland 2019. The duo was in the Philippines for the New Year’s Eve celebration at Bonifacio Global City on December 31.
HONNE is known for its songs “Location Unknown (feat. BEKA),” “Day 1,” “no sing without you,” “free love,” and “COMING HOME (feat. NIKI).
