A WEEK before their highly-anticipated concert, the nation’s girl group BINI unveiled the lineup of their guest performers, which included several biggest stars in the local entertainment scene.
On X (formerly Twitter), the eight-member P-pop girl group—composed of Jhoanna, Aiah, Colet, Gwen, Maloi, Mikha, Sheena, and Stacey—announced their star-studded guest performers at their “Grand BINIverse” concert, featuring the “unkabogable” superstar Vice Ganda and Original Pilipino Music (OPM) icons Regine Velasquez-Alcasid and Gary Valenciano.
Regine will perform on the first and second day of the concert, while Vice Ganda will appear on the second and third day.
Filipina drag queens M1ss Jade So, Viñas Deluxe, Precious Paula Nicole, Angel Galang, Maxie Andreison, Eva Le Queen, and Hana Beshie will also join BINI onstage. All these drag queens participated in different seasons of the hit reality competition series “Drag Race Philippines,” with Precious Paula Nicole winning the inaugural season and Maxie on the recently-concluded third season.
Actress-singer Maymay Entrata, known for her hit song “AMAKABOGERA,” is also a guest performer at the concert.
Additionally, Filipino dance crew TPM, who was recently declared champion of Singapore’s largest mega crew dance competition Super 24, will heat up the stage with their internationally acclaimed dancing prowess.
The “Grand BINIverse” concert will be held from November 16 to 18, at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
‘Manifestation works’
Several guest performers, including Hana Beshie and M1ss Jade So, are just as thrilled as BLOOMs about the upcoming concert. Such an opportunity to perform with BINI live onstage is proof that “manifestation works,” said Hana Beshie.
The drag queen shared a screen recording of her old live video on X, where she expressed willingness to become one of BINI’s backup dancers for free when she failed to secure a ticket to the previous “BINIverse” concert.
“Ito yung nagwi-wish ako na makapag-perform sa unang BINIverse kasi hindi ako nakabili ng ticket, pero ngayon makaka-perform ko na sila sa Araneta!” Hana Beshie wrote.
M1ss Jade So also commented on BINI’s Instagram post and said, “B1N1 BRATZY coming through!”
Many BLOOMs are excited to see their favorite idols performing with their guest performers, particularly the drag queens. One netizen even wondered if the eight drag queens will portray the BINI members at their concert.
“[Eight] din yung queens? Does this mean may kanya-kanya silang character sa BINI? OMG excited for who’s who,” they said. “Grab agad Precious for BINI Aiah!”
“BINIverse” is BINI’s first concert tour, which kicked off in June at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City. The P-pop group then held a regional tour across the Philippines, followed by an international tour in North America.
