One of the hosts, Vice Ganda, noticed that one of the staff in the show looked closely similar to the talk of the town—the controversial Mayor of Bamban, Tarlac, Alice Guo.

One of the hosts, Vice Ganda, noticed that one of the staff in the show looked closely similar to the talk of the town—the controversial Mayor of Bamban, Tarlac, Alice Guo.
Standing quietly on the side with the other staff, the lady in a black shirt and glasses wasn’t safe from the sharp eyes of the host.
Vice Ganda did not let go of the issue and proceeded to call on the staff.
“Gusto muna nating i-acknowledge ang presence… excuse me,” said Vice Ganda, however, the shy staff wasn’t stepping forward, so the host approached her.
“Mayor, thank you so much for gracing our show,” said Vice as she held the staff.
“Hindi siya ‘yan!” fellow “It’s Showtime” hosts shouted as they laughed at the comedian’s antics.
“Buti na lang naalala mo ang daan papunta rito,” Vice said while laughing.
“Dito kasi siya nag-aral. Nasaan na si Teacher Rubilyn?”
“Hindi ko na po maalala,” said the staff quoting the mayor of Bamban, finding the situation she’s in fun as well.
Vice proceeded to interrogate the staff, “Saan ba talaga nakatira si Teacher Rubilyn?”
“Your honor, hindi ko na po maalala,” answered the staff which earned a reaction from the people in the studio.
As the crowd settled, Vice shared that she had been staring at the staff trying to remember her face until the name of the mayor who is being investigated by the Senate popped into her mind.
“Alam mo kanina ko pa siya tinititigan,” said Vice.
“Oo, hindi ka makapag-concentrate eh,” answered Amy Perez.
“Tapos, hindi ako makapag[concentrate] kasi tinititigan ko siya tapos bigla ko siyang naalala…Oh my God, ka-pes niya.”
“Taray kanina wala ka rito ah, bigla ka na lang nandito ah, nag-chopper ka?” Vice added.
Mayor of Bamban, Alice Guo, has been making rounds on social media platforms lately due to the inconsistency of her answers—which has become an inside joke among Filipinos, on the Senate’s investigation.
Guo has become the subject of Filipino memes and jokes as the investigation deepens.
