EduRank just released the list of 100 best universities in the country and University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD) ranks first.
Aside from securing its top rank, UPD also ranked 374 in Asia and 1,367 best in the world.
Coming in second is De La Salle University (DLSU), who secured second place in the best university category in the Philippines. As for its ranking as the best university in Asia, DLSU comes 507th. For its best university in the world, DLSU ranks 1,752.
Ateneo De Manila comes third on the ranking for the best university in the country, with a ranking #565 for the best university in Asia. For it’s world ranking, Ateneo ranks #1,931.
Coming on fourth is the University of Santo Tomas (UST), which ranks #836 as the best university in Asia. For it’s world ranking as the best university, UST comes #2,652.
The fifth ranking on the best university in the country is UP Los Baños along with its #869 ranking in the category of the best university in Asia. As for it’s world best university ranking, it goes on #2,761
Next on the list is UP Manila along with its #927 for the best university in Asia. For its world ranking as the best university, it UP Manila secures a place at #2,927.
University of San Carlos comes seventh on the list—ranking #1,460 among the best universities in Asia. For its best university in the world ranking, it goes on #4,230.
Asian Institute of Management comes eighth on the list along with the ranking of #1,654 in Asia. For its world ranking it goes on #4,667.
Ninth on the list is MAPUA University, placing #1,669 in Asia and #4,696 in the world.
And lastly, coming tenth is the Mindanao State University with the ranking of #1,707 in Asia and #4,800 in the world.
As for the next 10 universities to go in the top 20 are:
University of the Philippines is in the top 11 with its Asian ranking at #1970 and in the world at #5398.
Visayas State University comes 12th in the list of best universities in the Philippines with its ranking of #1973 in Asia and #5404 in the world.
For the 13th best university in the Philippines comes Siliman University with the ranking of #1984 in Asia. As for the world ranking Siliman ranks #5425.
For the 14th ranking comes Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) with its Asian ranking at #2112 and #5758 in the world.
Central Luzon University comes in the 15th ranking along with its Asian ranking at #2134 and #5809 in the world.
University of Asia and the Pacific comes 16th on the list with its Asian ranking at #2145 and #5837 in the world.
For the 17th ranking comes De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde with is Asian ranking at #2158 and world ranking at #5867.
For the 18th place comes Adamson University with the Asian ranking of #2165 and world ranking of #5881.
University of Mindanao ranks 19th at the best university in the Philippines. As for the best university in Asia, University of Mindanao ranks #2334 and #6242 in the world.
Lastly, ranking the 20th place is the University of East Philippines (UE) with an Asian ranking of #2337 and #6245 in the world.
