Pop superstar Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce have officially taken their relationship to the next level: they’re engaged.
On an Instagram post by Swift, she posted a photo of her with Kelce, announcing their engagement.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” she captioned.
The couple appeared to be in a rose garden. The post included a snapshot of Kelce getting on his knee to propose and close up the engagement ring.
This news comes weeks after Taylor Swift has announced her upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl, on Travis and Jason’s (fiance’s brother) own podcast, New Heights.
Swift and Kelce first sparked romance rumors in mid-2023 when Kelce attended Swift’s Eras Tour at Arrowhead Stadium. According to Kelce, his attempt to give Swift a friendship bracelet was intercepted.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” he said on the July 26 episode of his New Heights podcast with brother Jason Kelce.
“So I was a little butt-hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.”
The couple began dating privately shortly afterward and have since been seen together at NFL games, concerts, and other public outings.
Kelce has joined Swift on stage, including during her 2024 Wembley concert, and both have been supportive of each other’s careers.
