“ULIT-ulitin man, nais kong malaman mong iyo ako, palagi.”
This was the sweetly penned message of TJ Monterde to wife KZ Tandingan upon publicly announcing their ‘second’ wedding ceremony held on August 28.
In a Facebook post, TJ opened up about their intimate garden ceremony, which also marked the date of the couple’s third wedding anniversary upon marriage during the midst of the pandemic.
“Sa mga nagtatanong, yes, exactly a week ago, KZ and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary through a very small and intimate wedding dito lang sa QC, simple lang,” he captioned.
The 33-year-old singer-songwriter also looked back on how they tied the knots in the middle of the pandemic.
“KZ and I got wed in the middle of a pandemic, 23 people lang kami nun. Our parents and siblings were only there via zoom, nanood lang sila kasi walang flights nung time na yun,” said TJ.
KZ said in an Instagram post that their first wedding was a ‘bittersweet’ celebration.
The celebrity couple then expressed gratitude to their parents, who gave them the ‘blessing’ to get married in 2020 despite not being able to attend the ceremony due to pandemic restrictions.
They even clarified that their second wedding ceremony is to honor their parents by making sure that they will be able to attend their special moment this time.
“We wanted to honor them by doing this wedding for them, this time magkakasama na kami and mahahatid na nila kami ni KZ sa altar. It was a very special, beautiful moment,” TJ stated.

Aside from exchanging more heartfelt affirmations for being three years together, the musician couple surprisingly dedicated both of their vows to each other’s parents.
“I vowed to her mom and dad, to not only take good care of their daughter but to take very good care of them too. KZ to my parents did the same,” he added.
TJ then claimed that their wedding ceremony is a covenant to ‘take care of each other and each other’s family’.

“Love, tapos na talaga ang three years trial period…Welcome to the full version automatic renewal for a lifetime,” said KZ.
TJ responded to his wife by saying that in their three years of being a married couple, KZ was his ‘best decision’
The Filipina singer and rapper has also claimed that three years after their first wedding, she can finally say that it is indeed possible to love her husband even more every day.
