DIGITAL music streaming platform Spotify recently launched its latest feature Song Psychic, which offers to answer a range of personal questions through music and song titles.
The new feature has nine categories to seek from, whether you are looking for advice on love, career, or what lies ahead. It provides an engaging and interactive way to feed users some cosmic insights.
Song Psychic is inspired by the success of the year-end song review called ‘Spotify Wrapped,’ which creates a unique way to convert Spotify music data into a way to look back at your listening history.

Users can pick from the nine categories, including school, style, lunch, love, career, myself, my future, friends & family, and life’s greatest mysteries.
Once done picking a category, choose from a variety of pre-filled questions such as ‘Will I marry rich?’, ‘Should I go on this date?’, ‘Should I book a vacation?’ and even “What should I have for lunch?”.
After choosing a question, a contemplation screen will be presented as the Song Psychic finds the perfect song to answer your question.
Once the answer is revealed, you can choose to stream the song, share it on social media, or ask another question.
Globally, users have curated over 250,000 psychic-related playlists on Spotify.
Among the most popular songs added to those playlists are ‘Rhiannon’ by Fleetwood Mac, ‘telepatía’ by Kali Uchis and ‘Stargirl Interlude’ by The Weeknd & Lana Del Rey.
