ONCE again, we will get to see our favorite green ogre in the big screen!
As announced by DreamWorks Animation, a new movie featuring our iconic green creature is set to hit the theaters with some of its OG cast members.
This includes Mike Myers as Shrek, Eddie Murphy as Donkey, and Cameron Diaz as Princess Fiona.
The first Shrek movie premiere back in 2001 followed by three sequels: Shrek 2 in 2004, Shrek the third in 2007, and Shrek Forever After in 2010.
Shrek spinoffs ‘Puss in Boots’ were later released starring actor Antonio Banderas and actress Salma Hayek in 2011 and 2022.
A teaser was posted on DreamWorks Animation’s social media platform, with the sight of number 5 peekin with Shrek’s iconic horns.
The film is set to be shown on the big screen in July 2026.
