REPUBLICASIA Media, Inc. opened the doors of its headquarters in Manila on Thursday to welcome GMA Sparkle artists for “The Republic of Influence: A New Era of Storytelling” workshop.
This event is part of the partnership between RepublicAsia, Sparkle GMA Artist Center, and iACADEMY to empower young Sparkle artists on their digital journey by equipping them with the knowledge about social media use and content creation.
RepublicAsia’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Bran Reluao, GMA Network Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group and GMA Films President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, Sparkle GMA Artist Center First Vice President Joy Marcelo, and iACADEMY President Raquel Wong signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for “The Republic of Influence: A New Era of Storytelling” seminar at the RepublicAsia’s newsroom in Intramuros, Manila.
Gozon-Valdes highlighted the importance of “The Republic of Influence: A New Era of Storytelling” workshop in shaping young content creators to become “good influencers.”
“We wanted our artists, our status influencers, to be able to learn the best practices in social media marketing, social media control, and how they can monetize their digital assets more,” she said.
“We are very happy that we have this partnership with RepublicAsia so they can grow and learn how to better use their digital assets,” she added.
Reluao also expressed gratitude for having the opportunity to help the young Sparkle artists “influence in a more positive way.”
For Marcelo, the workshop would help the Sparkle artists understand all the facets of the ever-changing digital landscape.
“It’s high time that our artists get the best of not just both worlds but maybe get the best of everything,” she said.
“Ang daming pagbabago, ang daming mga bago. So, it’s high time that we give the kids, our artists, the best. I think RepublicAsia can help us achieve this,” she continued.
