ON Imelda Marcos’ 96th birthday, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. wrote a brief and sweet message greeting his mother. 

“Happy 96th birthday! Your strength, grace, and unwavering love continue to guide and inspire us every day,” he wrote.

“We are so grateful for you—now more than ever,” he added. 

Following the further greetings of Imelda’s birthday, Senator Imee Marcos had also made a post on Facebook greeting her mother. 

“Happy 96th Birthday sa aking mommy, ang nag-iisang First Lady Imelda R. Marcos na forever naming mahal! ” She wrote on the caption. 

From 1956 to 1986, Imelda Marcos served as the First Lady of the Philippines.
