P-POP boy group 1621 will now promote as a five-member act, following the departure of its member, PAN.
On Tuesday evening, Star Pop, PPL Entertainment Inc., and ABS-CBN Music Management Group confirmed in a joint statement that their “professional connection” with PAN, or Francis John Rosas in real life, concluded “effective immediately.”
1621 also shared the statement on its official account on X (formerly Twitter).
The agencies said this decision was “mutually arrived at by all parties involved.” However, the reason behind PAN’s departure was not disclosed.
“We are proud of the work we have achieved with PAN. We bid him good luck on his future endeavors,” the statement read.
With this development, 1621 will now continue its musical journey with five members: JM, JC, Win, Migz, and DJ.
“JM, JC, Win, Migz, and DJ will continue pursuing the collective goal of delivering relatable songs reflecting the personal journeys of today’s audiences,” the labels said.
Formerly known as 1621BC, 1621 officially debuted in November 2023 with their single “Laruan.”
They made a music comeback in April 2025, dropping their second extended play (EP) “Sapulso.” The EP consists of six tracks, including singles “Bagamundo” and “Bababa.”
PAN last performed with his fellow 1621 members on the stage during the grand coronation of Miss Grand Philippines at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on Sunday, August 24.
