The DOST-PAGASA Planetarium is once again open to the public after undergoing months of renovation.
With just a 25-peso entrance fee, guests will enjoy and learn from a 30 minute-long show about constellations, planets, and other celestial bodies.

“With a 90-seating capacity, it serves as a venue for learning and understanding the universe by offering lectures on the basics of Astronomy and celestial navigation to students and the general public,” DOST-PAGASA said in a statement.
While the Planetarium is open to the public from 8AM to 4PM, Mondays to Fridays, it prioritizes big groups of at least 20 students; just send a request letter to [email protected] to request for a show, indicating the date and time of the visit, number of guests, and their grade level.

For joiners or smaller groups of people who want to learn more about the universe, do not worry because the Planetarium can still accommodate you. They are discouraging walk-ins but you can call their office at (02) 8284 0800 locals 3015 to 17 to check for scheduled shows that you can join.
In addition to this, the public may also experience stargazing at the PAGASA Astronomical Observatory. The only catch is, the night skies must be clear.
