P-POP boy group 1st One received rave reviews following their performance at the ASEAN-Korea Music Festival held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia over the weekend.
The group— composed of Ace, Alpha, Max, J, Joker and Jayson— took the stage on Day 1 of the festival and captured the crowd with their high-energy set and dynamic presence on stage.
Audiences from various countries, both onsite and online, praised the group for their electrifying performance.
“Their energy is contagious! I can’t help but dance along,” said one Malaysian fan.
1st One opened with a remixed version of their song “Shout Out”, incorporating folkloric musical chants and a powerful dance break.
The set also included fan favorite “Alam Mo Ba”, the unreleased track “MYV (Map Your Vibe)”, “Wala Ng Iba”, and concluded with a banger remix of “Paalam Na.”
The song “MYV” held a special place in the set, as it was officially launched during the festival’s Round 2025 segment. The track serves as the anthem for the 1734 Murillo Velarde Philippine map, with 1st One named as the official partner and designated bearer of the map.
On social media, hashtags like #1stOne, #ASEANKoreaMusicFest, and #1STONEatROUND2025 trended as fans shared clips and praised the group’s standout performance.
Critics also took notice, emphasizing how 1st One’s stage not only showcased talent but also underlined the role of cultural exchange in music.
With performances like this, 1st One continues to elevate P-Pop on the global stage and open doors for more Filipino acts to reach international audiences.
