GET ready to feel the rhythm of the Korean wave, Filipino K-drama fans!

The Korean Cultural Center of the Philippines (KCC), the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) are set to bring back “OST Symphony: K-drama in Concert” to the stage this month.

Titled “OST Symphony II: K-drama in Concert,” the musical event’s second edition is scheduled for Saturday, October 25, at the Samsung Hall at the SM Aura in Taguig City.

Two shows will be held on the same day: the first concert at 2 p.m., and another at 6:30 p.m.

The Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO), led by Maestro Herminigildo Ranera, will headline the concert, promising fans with their heartfelt renditions of some of the beloved K-drama soundtracks, including those from Netflix’s animated hit “K-Pop Demon Hunters” and popular Korean series “Crash Landing on You” and “When Life Gives You Tangerines.”

“OST Symphony II: K-drama in Concert” will also feature Korean singer-songwriter Hong Isaac, rising artist YEGNY, and Filipino artists Kyline Alcantara and Angel Guardian as guest performers.

The event also aims to highlight Gyeongju, the host city for the upcoming 2025 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting in Korea, according to the CCP’s press release.

The KCC, the CCP, and the NCCA joined forces with the Korea Tourism Organization – Manila Office (KTO), the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), SM Supermalls, VIU Philippines, and GMA to bring to the stage “OST Symphony II: K-drama in Concert.”

This comes after the concert’s successful debut in June 2024 at the historic Metropolitan Theater in Manila, featuring the PPO led by Ranera and violinist Kim Mi-jung. It also showcased performances from Julie Anne San Jose, Zephanie Dimaranan, and South Korean singer-songwriter Gaho.

Admission to “OST Symphony II: K-drama in Concert” is free and open to the public. Tickets are now available via SM Tickets.
