DON’T miss out on the final battle!
Two weeks after releasing its teaser, Netflix finally dropped the official trailer for “Sweet Home” season 3 on all its platforms on July 3.
Netflix also released the official poster of the iconic Korean horror series revealing the final battle between Hyun-su and Sang-wook in their monster forms, surrounded by flames and wrecked infrastructures.
The official poster shows that the final season will be released on July 19 on Netflix.
About Sweet Home
“Sweet Home” Season 3’s official trailer hinted at the final battle between humans, monsters, and neohumans. It showed intense action scenes between Hyun-su and Eun-hyeok, somewhat solving the unanswered questions about Eun-hyeok’s whereabouts in the previous season.
Yi-Kyung is also back after being consumed by a monster, while Eun-yu and Chan-yeong show great chemistry as they desperately fight for survival.
Meanwhile, Hyun-su’s line “From the beginning…I was you. I was always a part of you. Another version,” foreshadows that he will fully embrace the monster inside him to end the battle.
Director Lee Eung-bok said in a press release issued by Netflix, “There is a variety of characters, so I hope viewers will root for their favorite ones as they all fight in their own ways, from the battle between Sang-wook — who has turned evil — and Hyun-su, who longs to preserve his humanity; Yi-kyung, who fights to protect Kid; and Sergeant Tak, who feels responsible for the survivors’ safety.”
The official trailer on YouTube received mixed reactions from netizens. While many were excited about the trailer, some hoped that the final season would not be as disappointing as season 2. Others expressed sadness as the series would end.
“Sweet Home” is a live adaptation of the South Korean webtoon written by Kim Carnby and illustrated by Hwang Young-chan from 2017 to 2020.
