NADINE Lustre is not done giving viewers the chills through her forthcoming projects.

The 30-year-old actress is set to star in “Roadkillers,” a new thriller series which will be helmed by Rae Red. 

Prime Video Philippines released a teaser of “Roadkillers” on X, showing Lustre apparently involved in a crime.

“Are you still at fault when you’ve run out of options?” posted the streaming site. 

In the 43-second teaser, a man could be heard saying, “Walang mali sa ginawa mo. Minsan, pag nagkagipitan, may nagagawa ka talagang masama para sa mga taong mahal mo.” 

The voiceover plays as scenes transition from Lustre anxiously riding at the back of a vehicle, to driving a car hurriedly, to holding a gun, and banging a door.

The teaser ended with the actress asking coldly: “Patay na po ba siya?”

“Roadkillers” is Lustre’s first series in seven years, since the 2016 romance series “Till I Met You” with her former boyfriend, actor James Reid, and JC Santos.

“Roadkillers” will premiere on November 30 on Prime Video.

New horror film

Lustre will also star in the forthcoming horror film “Nokturno” directed by Mikhail Red.

This is Lustre and Red’s second movie collaboration after the psychological-horror film “Deleter” in 2022. “Deleter”recently gained international recognition when it bagged the Best Scare award at the 2023 Grimmfest in the United Kingdom.

In “Nokturno,” the actress will play the role of overseas worker Jamie, who will try to solve an ancient curse when she returns to the country. Lustre will be joined by Eula Valdez, Bea Binene and J.J Quilantang in the movie.

“Nokturno” is expected to be released in late 2023 or in early 2024.
