AMERICAN actress Maya Hawke gives an update to ‘Stranger Things’ season 5, saying that the season will have “very long episodes.” 

On June 27, Stranger Things actress Maya Hawke made a guest appearance on Penn Badgley’s ‘Podcrushed’ podcast. 

The upcoming continuation of the sci-fi series will contain eight episodes, something that Hawke described to be “basically, eight movies.” 

In the podcast, Hawke gave out an update on the upcoming season finale of Stranger Things–highlighting on how the writers are exerting a lot of effort to ensure the quality of season 5. 

“They write a lot and they are very intense and serious about the quality of the continued writing, and it takes a long time to write each season, and it takes a long time to shoot them,” Hawke said. 

The actress stated that the “episodes are very long,” noting that the shooting of the final season will took a year until finished. 

The fifth season of Stranger Things is set to premiere sometime in 2025.
