AS September finally entered our calendars and marked the first month of the Christmas season in the Philippines, came a greeting from Mariah Carey.    

Last Saturday, the ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You” singer shared a site dedicated to Filipinos where they can play her iconic Christmas song. 

“Philippines, it’s time (only for you!!) I hope you’re all safe and well. Let’s celebrate together,” she wrote in the caption.  

Aside from the “Christmas in Our Hearts” by Jose Mari Chan, “All I Want for Christmas Is You” has also been a go-to merrymaking song amongst Filipinos during the yuletide season. 

As of writing, Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas” has 1,819,233,397 streams on Spotify.
