by Joanna Deala

ORGANIZERS of Wanderland 2024 have revealed the full list of performers for the highly anticipated music and arts festival, with Hwasa of K-pop girl group Mamamoo and Filipino indie band Lola Amour joining the roster.

The Wanderland Music and Arts Festival is set to return on March 9 to 10 at the Filinvest City Events Grounds in Alabang.

It will be graced by 22 international and local acts and five creative artists, said the organizers.

American singer-songwriter Jack Johnson, who is known for his acoustic hits “Better Together,” “Banana Pancakes,” and “Upside Down,” will headline the first day.

Filipino band Lola Amour, who is behind the popular song “Raining in Manila,” will join Johnson together with Australian electropop band Parcels Welsh multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Novo Amor, Australian electronic music duo Cosmo’s Midnight, South Korean rapper Beenzino, Filipino musician Gabba, Filipina-Japanese pop artist ena mori, jazz and folk artist Jose Miguel, Filipino alternative indie rock band bird, and rising Korean indie/rock band Bosudong Cooler.

“Full circle moment. See you guys at Wanderland!” said Lola Amour in a Facebook post.

American musician Thundercat, who popularized the song “Them Changes,” will rock the stage on the second day of Wanderland 2024.

He will share the stage with PJ Morton of pop band Maroon 5, Filipino-American singer-songwriter Jeff Bernat, American indie pop band The Walters, Filipino-Australian singer-songwriter Grentperez, Pinoy singer-songwriter Paolo Sandejas, Bicolana singer-songwriter dwta, Taiwanese singer-guitarist CLOUDRIVER, Pinoy rock band Party Pace, and French producer-DJ duo Breakbot and Irfane.

Aside from these performers, attendees will also witness live art and art installations from artists TRNZ, Babsilog, VALVEE, Seeweirdo, and Bitto.

Wanderland 2024 announced the first wave of its artists in September 2023, six months after its much-awaited comeback in March 2023 following a three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year’s edition will have a theme that is “hitting close to home (quite literally),” according to Wanderland’s website.

Launched in 2013, Wanderland is an annual outdoor music and arts festival that aims to highlight and celebrate the diverse talents of more than a dozen international and homegrown artists. It is organized by Karpos Multimedia.

Last year, the festival was headlined by Carly Rae Jepsen and Phoenix.
