Maki’s first solo concert is scheduled for November 7 at Big Dome

by Joanna Deala

IT is finally Maki’s turn to fill the Big Dome with vibrant colors!

On Sunday, the Filipino Gen Z singer-songwriter unveiled the poster for his first-ever solo concert, “KOLORCOASTER,” which will be held on November 7 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

“It STARts here,” said the “Dilaw” hitmaker.

Maki’s long-awaited “KOLORCOASTER” concert is in support of his forthcoming debut full-length album of the same name, set for release on September 19.

The album will consist of 10 color-themed songs, including hit tracks “Namumula,” “Kahel Na Langit,” “Dilaw,” and “Bughaw.”

Tarsier Records, Maki’s label, has also shared teasers for the album’s new tracks: “Turning Green,” “INDIGO (with u),” and “Nangungulila.”

Three more songs in the “KOLORCOASTER” album have yet to be revealed.

Meanwhile, Maki’s fans, collectively known as Zushis, could not be more proud and excited for Maki’s first full-length album and concert.

One fan even pointed out how Maki went from performing at concerts of some well-known artists, such as P-pop girl group BINI and American pop-rock band LANY, to having his solo concert.

“Maki, you deserve the world, and the world deserves to see your talent,” they said.

Maki reposted the fan’s post and said, “It’s my turn.”

Further details about the “KOLORCOASTER” concert, including ticket prices, have yet to be announced.

The concert announcement comes after Maki teamed up with American singer-songwriter JVKE for “Seasons,” a track from the latter’s “The Asia Tour: Blooming Season” extended play (EP).
