FILIPINO rock band Lola Amour recently expressed their sentiments over X (formerly Twitter) regarding campaign jingles sampling their song “Raining in Manila” without their consent.
This reply came after an X user posted about how they are starting to get sick of hearing their song over the lines of the campaign jingle.
The band later replied to the post, stating that it had happened before and is now happening again. They also added that all of the campaign jingles used in their songs don’t have their consent.
Btw guys, this happened before and I guess it’s happening again: All of the campaign jingles using our songs do not have our consent. Vote wisely 🤣 https://t.co/2kEorljA8g
