LAST November 21st, actress Lindsay Lohan posted photos of herself on Instagram, and the internet has been going crazy since then.
Many are asking what the 38-year-old did to look as youthful as ever, asking what procedures she’s undergone to achieve this. Reports are saying, however, that no plastic surgery was done to achieve this look, and that it is all thanks to her glam squad as well as a few changes in her lifestyle.
People on the internet are also praising her for how much she’s grown throughout the years, pointing out that she looks so much healthier than she did back when she was younger.
There are others, however, who are speculating that Lohan has actually had work done to achieve this look.
TikToker and aesthetics doctor Dr. Jonny Betteridge, for example, posted a video saying that he believes Lohan has gotten Botox, veneers, a brow lift, blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, laser resurfacing, lip lift, lip filler, and facelift.
He estimates that all of these procedures would have cost about USD 200 to 300,000.
“She took the substance,” some users online are joking, referring to the 2024 film of director Coralie Fargeat.
In her comments, one user wrote: “Is someone gonna talk about her glow-up? Because I literally need to know who she saw and what she had done so I can do the same thing.”
Regardless of whether or not Lohan’s new look is a result of surgery or lifestyle changes, one thing is for sure: she looks absolutely fantastic.
Lohan’s look isn’t the only one people are talking about, either.

People online have recently started joking about how celebrities in Hollywood must have found the fountain of youth, as more and more of them are looking younger than ever.
43-year-old Christina Aguilera, for example, has long been turning heads for how young she looks in her photos.
Aguilera has long been vocal about having work, such as Botox, done in the past. With her new look, cosmetic surgeons are speculating Botox, lip fillers, as well as a possible face lift, all done in a way to still look natural.
66-year-old singer Madonna’s new look also shocked the internet, with people saying that she looks unrecognizable. As per board-certified surgeon Dr. Barry Weintraub, it is estimated that she has had at least twelve cosmetic facial procedures done in the last year.
It can be noted, however, that plastic surgery is nothing new when it comes to celebrities.
Something that seemingly has changed over the years is the behavior of people towards those who undergo plastic surgery.
Instead of approaching the topic with judgment, people are showing love, support, and encouragement for these women, even wondering where they can go to get these procedures done themselves.
Undetectable era of plastic surgery
Perhaps the shift in people’s perception of plastic surgery can also be attributed to how natural these procedures now look as compared to before.
As per a video on TikTok posted by facial plastic surgeon Dr. Prem Tripathi, the procedures people are having done to their faces are not detectable, hence calling this the “undetectable era”.
Dermatologist and surgeon Dr. Anthony Rossi also explains that these procedures are undetectable as well as understated, focusing on minimalism so as not to be “over-the-top, in-your-face, big-cheeks, frozen face”.
Nowadays, procedures are more subtle and refined.
Professionals also note, however, that with how natural these procedures look, there is a need to maintain health and honesty. Aside from having work done, you still need to live a healthy lifestyle.
And given how natural these procedures look, there is thus a bigger responsibility to be honest about the work you’ve had done.
