FOR the first time in years, Gen Z actress Kisses Delavin became the talk of the town as photos and videos of her ballet performance in a school in New York went viral over the weekend.
Filipino netizens shared glimpses of Delavin’s performance at the 2025 Spring Showcase of the Martha Graham School in New York. According to its website, the school is the “oldest professional school of dance” in the United States, teaching its students the Martha Graham Technique and repertory.
Wearing a dark green leotard and a slicked-back bun, Delavin danced to the “Letter to the World,” choreographed by the school’s founder, the late modern dancer Martha Graham, in 1940. Joining her in the spotlight were her fellow ballerinas in the beginner students’ workshop class.
The entire Spring Showcase performance was uploaded on the school’s YouTube channel last May.
Her recent sighting came after years of staying out of the public eye, with her latest social media update published on Instagram in October 2021. It was the same year she joined the Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) competition as the representative of Masbate.
Many of her Filipino fans said they were happy for Delavin, who is now living her “quiet” and “graceful” life as a ballerina student abroad.
“We miss her so much, but if choosing a peaceful path is what brings her genuine peace, then we’ll always be happy for her,” one netizen said.
Kisses is now a ballerina, living a quiet, graceful life away from the spotlight. We miss her so much, but if choosing a peaceful path is what brings her genuine peace, then we'll always be happy for her. 🥹❤️#KissesDelavin pic.twitter.com/OuHpjg4fv3

There was not much update about Delavin after her MUPH stint, where she finished in the Top 10. However, she appeared in a recorded video for her acceptance speech for being recognized as a Lasallian Public Communicator during the 2022 Gawad Lasallianeta.
Who is Kisses
Delavin gained prominence in the local entertainment industry when she participated in the hit reality show “Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7” as one of the teen housemates. She finished as the second big placer, next to Maymay Entrata.
Before her “PBB” stint, she had a cameo appearance in the 2015 romance series “Pangako Sa ‘Yo,” starring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
Delavin was also part of a popular love team called “DonKiss,” with her former on-screen partner Donny Pangilinan. Delavin confirmed the end of the “DonKiss” pairing in 2019.
The actress starred in several local films and series before she went on a showbiz hiatus. Her latest movie was the 2020 family drama “D’Ninang,” alongside Ai-Ai delas Alas, Angel Guardian, and McCoy De Leon, among others.
