KAYLA Jean Carter, a Filipino-American beauty queen will be representing the Philippines in the upcoming Miss Charm 2024 pageant in the US next month.
This was announced by the Miss Philippines organization on July 6, via their social media account.
Carter will compete on August 24 in the upcoming Miss Charm 2024 pageant to be held in Los Angeles, United States.
“The Miss Philippines Org. is very happy to announce the appointment of KAYLA JEAN CARTER as Miss Charm Philippines 2024,” the announcement on their Facebook page said.
“She will represent the country in the upcoming Miss Charm pageant to be held in the United States on August 24, 2024.”

Carter, a 27-year-old Fil-Am and one of the candidates who competed in the recent Miss Philippines Pageant, hailed from the Northern California Filipino community, with roots in Talisay, Cebu.
Since she was among the 10 delegates competing for four titles in The Miss Philippines, and is one of the highest-ranking delegates eligible for the titles, Carter agreed to be considered for The Miss Philippines.
As Carter’s US Visa is already in hand, she can now focus on planning and preparing for the upcoming competition.
Carter took to her Instagram to express her gratitude for the given opportunity.
The title was originally held by Krishnah Gravidez from Baguio City but later on withdrew her candidacy to compete for Miss World Philippines 2024.
Carter was appointed as the Miss Charm Philippine 2024 a month after Gravidez withdrew her candidacy.
