International pop girl group KATSEYE amps up the attitude with their newly released single “Gnarly”—their highly anticipated comeback on Wednesday, May 1, 2025.
The track dives into a louder, edgier direction with its experimental pop sound, signaling a bold new chapter as the group embraces a more fearless musical identity.
But the surprise didn’t end with the audio. Alongside the single is a high-energy music video that sees KATSEYE fully lean into their Y2K-inspired signature style—this time with a rebellious twist.
From crashing house parties to dancing through neon-lit chaos, the girls step confidently into their baddie era.
“Gnarly” is KATSEYE’s first release since “Touch” took over the charts, climbing all the way to No. 13 on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100.
The hit track was part of their debut EP SIS (Soft Is Strong), which also featured fan favorites like “Debut” and “My Way.”
Formed through The Debut: Dream Academy, KATSEYE brings together talents from all over the world, including Sofia from the Philippines.
As the group embraces a bold new sound, Sofia represents Filipino pride on the global stage, adding her unique voice to the group’s dynamic alongside Lena (USA), Zara (South Korea), and Ava (Australia).
