KATHRYN Bernardo is celebrating her 29th birthday today, March 26.
To mark this milestone, the Filipina actress stunned netizens with her chic birthday photoshoot on Instagram. In the photos, she donned a black fitted crop top, a black bikini bottom, and sunglasses.
Holding a bag of a corn-cheese puff snack, Bernardo wrote: “Welcoming my 29th with a midnight snack.”
She shared another set of her birthday photos, this time, wearing a white tank top and a white bikini bottom.
“Woke up as a 29-year-old,” said Bernardo.
Meanwhile, other Filipino celebrities like fashion icon Heart Evangelista, lifestyle content creator Laureen Uy, actresses Kyline Alcantara and Cassy Legaspi, Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo, actor Joross Gamboa, and ABS-CBN executive Charo Santos greeted Bernardo.
Actress Julia Montes, Bernardo’s longtime friend, dedicated an Instagram post to the birthday celebrator, sharing her favorite photo of them.
“I just want to remind you how much you mean to us. I’m so proud of you and grateful for all the unforgettable moments we’ve shared,” Montes wrote.
Bernardo and Montes co-starred in the 2010 television drama series “Mara Clara” and the 2011 family drama film “Way Back Home.”
Montes wished her friend “endless happiness, success, and love.”
Days before her 29th birthday, Bernardo opened up about experiencing birthday blues as she copes with adulting. She shared that she is in her “transition age,” moving to her own place.
Bench fashion show stint
Bernardo walked at the recently concluded the “Bench Body of Work” fashion show. She closed the event by gracing the runway in her bedazzled brassiere and white belted mini skirt.
The 29-year-old actress said the fashion show was an “exciting, nostalgic, and nerve-wracking” experience, sharing the behind-the-scenes footage of her preparations on Instagram.
Held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, the fashion show also featured other celebrities like Bernardo’s “Hello, Love, Again” co-star Alden Richards, Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz, siblings Andres and Atasha Muhlach, couple Bianca Umali and Ruru Madrid, Sunshine Cruz, Ina Raymundo, David Licauco, and P-pop powerhouse SB19.
These stars sported the local clothing brand’s collection of versatile basics, undergarments, and swimsuits on the runway.
