KUYA is opening the doors of his iconic yellow house again this year—this time, welcoming celebrities from Kapamilya and Kapuso celebrities!
Media giant ABS-CBN will collaborate with GMA Network for the first time for the “Pinoy Big Brother’s (PBB)” newest season: “PBB Celebrity Edition Collab.”
This marks the reality show’s 20th anniversary since it first aired in 2005.
For the show’s 2025 edition, ABS-CBN’s Star Magic and GMA Sparkle talents will come together and live under one roof for a limited period. They are expected to get to know each other as they join forces to complete various tasks given by Kuya or Big Brother.
“Together, Kapuso and Kapamilya stars will collaborate and create unforgettable moments inside the PBB house,” the Kapamilya network said in a statement.
Further details about “PBB Celebrity Edition Collab,” including its newest set of housemates, are yet to be unveiled.
“PBB Celebrity Edition Collab” is the latest collaboration between the two networks, after co-producing the 2023 romance drama series “Unbreak My Heart” topbilled by Jodi Sta. Maria, Richard Yap, Joshua Garcia, and Gabbi Garcia.
ABS-CBN’s hit noontime variety show, “It’s Showtime,” continues to air on GMA Network.
Pinoy stars from ‘PBB’
Numerous well-known local celebrities today started their careers in the show business industry through “PBB.”
The list includes actress and “It’s Showtime” host Kim Chiu, the big winner of the show’s first teen edition; comedienne and “Magandang Buhay” host Melai Cantiveros, winner of “PBB: Double Up;” singer-actor James Reid, winner of “PBB: Teen Clash 2010;” and actress-singer Maymay Entrata, winner of “PBB: Lucky 7.”
Gen Z stars Kisses Delavin, Vivoree Esclito, Ylona Garcia, Maris Racal, Barbie Imperial, Heaven Peralejo, and Kaori Oinuma were also former “PBB” housemates.
The show’s latest winner is Fyang Smith from “PBB Gen 11,” which concluded in 2024.
The most recent season was hosted by Bianca Gonzales, Robi Domingo, Kim, Melai, Enchong Dee, and Alexa Ilacad.
