ARE YOU looking for a historical artifact to add to your collection? Salcedo Auctions is set to auction two of Jose Rizal’s significant artifacts later this September.
One of the primary artifacts to be sold in the auction is Rizal’s Ateneo report card with an estimated auction value from P350,000 to P400,000.
Dating back to September 20, 1876, at Ateneo Municipal de Manila, the hero’s Spanish report card credits Rizal with a second-honor recognition for Historia Natural Class, also known as Biology in modern times.
This debunks the myth that Rizal always tops his classes.
Aside from Rizal’s Ateneo report card, a charcoal artwork by Rizal, the “Portrait of a European Gentleman,” is also up for the auction.
Salcedo Auctions’ “The Well-Appointed Life” is set to take place on September 27, 2025.
The morning online auction is set to begin at 10 am, while the afternoon life and online sale is set to be held at 2 pm.
