AMERICAN actress and singer Jennifer Lopez files divorce from Ben Affleck after 2 years of marriage.  

Jennnifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, also known as the 2000s Hollywood power couple ‘Bennifer’ yet again find themselves separating after Lopez filed a divorce on Tuesday in Los Angeles. 

The two reportedly split up, after Lopez postponed her summer tour to spend more time with her family, following the listing of their Beverly Hills house for sale. Lopez listed their date of separation as April 26, 2024, as per the filing acquired by TMZ. 

The pair first met on the set of the movie ‘Gigli’ in 2002 and has since then sparked their romance. In the same year, the couple got engaged but later announced in 2003 that would be postponing their wedding due to excess media attention. 

In 2004, Bennifer had called it quits.

Despite the painful end of Bennifer, the two remained friends and had been married to other artists. 

In 2021, the couple rekindled their relationship and went public after being photographed attending events together. The pair got engaged a year later and finally tied the knot in the same year.  

Earlier this year, rumors of their separation began resurfacing after they hadn’t been photographed together in more than a month. The speculations arose even more when it was reported that Jennifer and Ben had not been living together. 

Fans also took note on how Lopez celebrated her 55th birthday without Ben last month. 

In July 2022, Jennifer and Ben got married in Las Vegas, then on August 20, 2022, they had their traditional wedding in Georgia.
