FILIPINO rock band IV OF SPADES has a big surprise in store for their fans following their successive music releases this year.

The quartet—comprising Zild Benitez, Badjao De Castro, Unique Salonga, and Blaster Silonga—is set to make a comeback to the Philippine stage with a concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on  December 12, 2025.

IV OF SPADES announced their upcoming concert on their social media pages on Sunday night, October 5, along with ticket prices ranging from P1,000 for GA Regular, P2,000 for GA Premium, P3,000 for UB Regular, P3,500 for UB Premium, P4,500 for Floor Standing, P5,500 for LB Regular, and P6,500 for LB Premium.

Tickets will be available on October 12 via SM Tickets.

The concert is organized by Karpos, the local events company behind the annual Wanderland Music and Arts Festival and other notable Philippine concerts.

The organizer first hinted at the concert on Saturday through a video teaser featuring the quartet’s silhouettes.

Several netizens were quick to guess that the anonymous artists in the clip were IV OF SPADES members, pointing out that the background music sounded like the band’s latest single, “Nanaman.”

This marks IV OF SPADES’ first-ever solo concert in five years following their indefinite hiatus in 2020. The hiatus came after Salonga left the band in 2018 to embark on his solo career.

Surprise comeback

This year, IV OF SPADES shocked the Original Pinoy Music (OPM) scene with their reunion as a four-piece act and new single, “Aura,” in July.

Released under IV OF SPADES’ new music label, Sony Music Philippines, and new management, Balcony Music Entertainment, “Aura” is a calm indie pop song that explores the themes of longing and unconditional love, as well as finding “meaning and home among the sea of people.”

The single came with a music video, featuring the quartet having fun on a hilltop.

Many fans and other OPM artists, including Ebe Dancel, Kiyo, Janine Berdin, and Filipino bands Over October and Ben&Ben, were delighted by IV OF SPADES’ return to the music industry.

IV OF SPADES released two more singles, “Nanaman” and “Konsensya,” in August and September, respectively.

Before the upcoming concert, the rock band is set to release a new album, “Andalucia,” on November 5. It consists of 12 tracks, including “Aura,” “Nanaman,” and “Konsensya.”

“Andalucia” comes six years after the release of IV OF SPADES’ debut studio album, “CLAPCLAPCLAP!” in 2019.
