A NEW generation of “Going Bulilit” kids is coming.
A report by ABS-CBN News announced that the highly anticipated kids show “Going Bulilit” is making a comeback. It also revealed that the “It’s Showtime” kids would join its cast.
Argus, Kulot, Jaze, Imogen and Kelsey along with the other bulilits are expected to join the new generation of the award-winning show.
“Going Bulilit” creator Edgar “Bobot” Mortiz complimented the “It’s Showtime” kids, saying he knew that the kids were good at what they’re doing.
“Hindi ko pa sila nami-meet pero alam kong magagaling sila. Maganda ‘yan kasi masasalihan natin ng ibang bata na magaling talaga,” he said.
The creator could not help but express his excitement for the show’s comeback.
“Nagulat ako kasi biglaan nga. Pero nakakatuwa naman na maraming excited na mga bata. Ang tagal nawala ang ‘Goin’ Bulilit.’”
Mortiz also told ABS-CBN News that he had been pushing for the revival of the show.
“Aaminin ko, nung nawala to kung saan-saan ko ‘to inalok, gusto mong gumawa talaga ng ‘Bulilit.’ Siguro kaya hindi natuloy noon kasi eto talaga siya,” he said.
Auditions for the new generation of “Going Bulilit” kids will open at the ABS-CBN compound on Saturday. Meanwhile, the premiere date of the show has yet to be announced.
