GIVING gifts to your friends and loved ones for Christmas is not an uncommon practice. As a matter of fact, a lot of people grew up with the idea of giving and receiving gifts during the Christmas season.
The Philippines is known for celebrating the longest Christmas. For years, Filipinos have been wired to feel the Christmas spirit upon entering the ‘’ber months.’’ Because of this, there is a high chance that many Filipinos will buy gifts a lot earlier than expected.
Denevin, a father of two daughters, said that it’s better to buy gifts earlier to avoid the Christmas rush.
RJ, an aspiring social media influencer, stated that it’s better to give an early Christmas gift, especially when you won’t be able to see the person on or before Christmas.
Roi, a college student at Lyceum of the Philippines University, said that this is just the exact time to buy a gift for someone.
“If you were to buy someone a gift, this would be the perfect time, as it can lessen your need to prepare when you’re about to wrap and pack the item,’’ he added.
