Hulk Hogan’s cause of death revealed

On July 24, the name of a two-time World Wide Entertainment (WWE) Hall of Famer and wrestling world champion Hulk Hogan, made headlines after his death at the age of 71. 

However, the cause of his death has not been announced when his wife, Sky Daily, opened it up on an Instagram post stating that the wrestler “had been dealing with some health issues, but truly believed they would overcome them.”

In a report obtained by TMZ from the records of the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center, Hulk Hogan, whose real name was Terry Gene Bollea, died of acute myocardial infarction, which is commonly known as a heart attack.    

An acute myocardial infarction results from the heart muscle not getting enough blood and is usually caused by commonly caused by coronary artery disease.

As per the wrestler’s medical records, Hogan had a history of atrial fibrillation, a heart condition that causes an irregular heartbeat.

He was also diagnosed with a form of cancer, chronic lymphocytic leukemia. However, details surrounding the cancer are unclear.    

In 1977, Hulk Hogan began his career as a professional wrestler and was prominently featured in the WWE, World Championship Wrestling, and Impact Wrestling.
