HORI7ON, KAIA, New:ID to grace P-pop Tourism Fiesta 2025

by Joanna Deala

P-POP groups HORI7ON, KAIA, and New:ID are set to headline a concert at the Foro de Intramuros in Manila on Saturday, September 27, as part of the P-pop Tourism Fiesta 2025.

The P-pop Tourism Fiesta 2025 is a culminating event that showcases Philippine culture, music, and festivities, coinciding with the country’s celebration of Tourism Month, with the theme, “Tourism and Sustainable Transformation.”

The Intramuros Administration (IA) organized the event in collaboration with the P-pop Music & Culture Caravan, with the support of the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).

HORI7ON, KAIA, and New:ID will share the stage for the P-pop concert, scheduled for 4 p.m. It will also highlight special performances from rising pop solo artist Hakki and P-pop girl group VIVID.

Formed in 2023, HORI7ON is a South Korea-based Filipino boy group composed of Vinci, Kim, Kyler, Reyster, Winston, Jeromy, and Marcus. The boy group had their long-awaited comeback in March 2025 with a new single, “COLD,” which earned a nomination at the Brazil-based BreakTudo Awards 2025 under the Song by New International Artist category.

Debuted in 2022, KAIA is formed by Angela, Charlotte, Sophia, Alexa, and Charice. They also made a comeback in March 2025 with their new single, “TANGA.” KAIA later joined forces with South Korean artist-producer Ziv for the song “Walkie Talkie” in June.

Meanwhile, New:ID is a five-member boy group consisting of Wilson, Macky, L, Thad, and Jom, who debuted in 2024 with their extended play (EP), “NEW EGO.”

Hakki and VIVID debuted this year, releasing their first solo singles, “Aaminin” and “Redflags,” respectively, in September.

The P-pop Tourism Fiesta 2025 will also feature student musicians from four different Intramuros-based universities and colleges for the Battle of the Bands, scheduled for 4 p.m. at the Foro de Intramuros.

They are Over the Counter from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, Jadeville from Mapua University, Lunar Eyes from Lyceum of the Philippines University, and Letran Band from Colegio de San Juan de Letran.

How to access the concert

The P-pop concert and the Battle of the Bands are available to Intramuros Passport holders. Interested individuals may avail of the passport through this Google form or at major Intramuros sites for P350.

The event is free for all currently enrolled students of Intramuros-based schools. They just need to present a valid school ID.

Other events

The P-pop Tourism Fiesta 2025 also offers other interactive activities for this year’s celebration of Tourism Month, including the Intramuros Tourism Expo and cultural workshops.

The Intramuros Tourism Expo will open five competitions for Tourism students from the four Intramuros-based universities and colleges: Tour Guiding Competition, Event Planning Competition, Travel Infographics Competition, and Travel Vlogging Competition.

These contests will be held from 8 a.m. to noon at the Foro de Intramuros. Admission is free to the public, but seating is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.

Meanwhile, four different cultural workshops—Indak, Baybayin, Tunog, and Moda—will be offered for free to the public. However, the regular entrance fee to Fort Santiago, where the Indak workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., will be applied.

The Baybayin, Tunog, and Moda workshops will be conducted at the Centro de Turismo Intramuros at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 2 p.m., respectively.

These workshops will also have limited seating and are on a first-come, first-served basis.
