TODAY, November 30, singer and actress Hailee Steinfeld posted to Instagram announcing her engagement to Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
The caption of the post includes the date November 22nd, 2024, which is presumably when Allen popped the question.
Many have since showered the couple with support online, wishing them well in their marriage to come.
“Congrats honey,” wrote fellow actress Ashley Benson in the comment section of the post.
“Will the Treblemakers be at the wedding?,” a fan joked, referencing Steinfeld’s role in the popular film franchise, “Pitch Perfect”.
Other celebrities like Gabe Davis, AJ Klein, and Chloe Gaze Moretz also showed an outpour of support for the couple in their comments.
Relationship timeline
Steinfeld and Allen started dating each other in 2023, with Allen coming from a long-term relationship with Brittany Williams prior to this.
It was in May of 2023 that people started seeing them walking around New York together, and then in October, Steinfeld was spotted supporting Allen at one of his games.
In July of 2024, Allen then hard launched their relationship, with the caption of his post saying, “Onward.”
The couple have happily been together ever since then, officially announcing their engagement just today.
Hailee Steinfeld is a singer and actress best known for her roles as Emily Junk in “Pitch Perfect 2” and “Pitch Perfect 3”, Gwen Stacy in “Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse” and “Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse”, as well as Kate Bishop in “Hawkeye” and “The Marvels”.
Before playing as quarterback for the Buffalo Bills football team, Allen played for the Wyoming Cowboys, then being selected seventh overall for the 2018 NFL Draft.
He is lauded by many for his prowess in the sport; most recently in 2023, he was one of the people recognized for having the most rushing touchdowns done by a quarterback in a single season.
