Greenhills Night Market opens

The annual night market at Greenhills in San Juan City reopened Wednesday evening ushering in the Christmas season.

A production number and choral song was held prior to the opening with dazzling lights illuminating the dark skies.

San Juan City Mayor led in the opening ceremony where he was flanked by several children from the White Cross Orphanage who received early Christmas gifts.

The Greenhills Night Market is the go-to destination for Christmas shopping in San Juan.

““Bringing the joy back to our families experiencing the season of christmas specially now we’re basically post pandemic,” James Candelaria, assistant vice president for Greenhills Mall Operation said.

It is a shoppers delight with stalls selling clothes, toys, gifts for your loved ones, or Christmas decorations like parols and Christmas trees.

And after a night of walking and shopping, one can simply recharge by eating as there are also various food stalls where you can take a break.

Children on the other hand can have fun at the kiddie rides.

“We would like to invite every one to please join us here in GH night market the event starts at 4pm to 11pm until December 31,” Candelaria said.

Manila Chinatown Christmas Lighting

Meanwhile, the Manila Chinatown Hotel also  held a Christmas lighting ceremony on Wednesday night, November 8, 2023.

They were led by Mr. Archie Demaala of the Office of the Vice Mayor and Barangay Chairwoman Marissa Alejandro. Mr. Jeremy Go, the General Manager of the Lucky Chinatown Hotel, Ms. Gigi Gaw, the Area Director of Sales and Marketing, and Mr. Mario Justo, the NCR Cluster General Manager.

It is their way of ushering as well the Christmas Season.
