Ghibli Fest coming to Quezon City this weekend

by RepublicAsia

Be ready to explore the world of Studio Ghibli for a two-day event to take place on April 20-21, organized by Street Kohi. This festival aims to reunite the fans and Ghibli enthusiasts for a wonderful and memorable experience.

According to Gio Aragon, organizer of the event, he was inspired by his visit to the Ghibli museum and park during his trip to Japan. Due to it, he made an idea of hosting a Ghibli festival in the Philippines since their cafe is known for its Ghibli-themed cafe, community works, and interior designs.

There will be a film viewing featuring some of the popular Studio Ghibli titles that will start at 3 PM until 11 PM.

The schedule of the films are as follows:

3PM – My Neighbor Totoro

4:30 PM – Kiki’s Delivery Service

5:30 PM – Princess Mononoke

6:30 PM – The Wind Rises

7:30 PM – Spirited Away

8:30 PM – Howl’s Moving Castle

You can also order Ghibli-inspired foods and drinks while watching the films.

The Ghibli Fest is set to take place at 24 Mayaman St. corner Manigo, Quezon City. You can also check out Street Kohi’s Instagram page for more information.
