Metropolitan Museum of Manila Offers Free Admission Tuesdays This February

Free Admission Tuesdays at Metropolitan Museum of Manila This February

by Rescel Ocampo

HERE’s a good news for the art enthusiasts!

In celebration of the National Arts Month this February, the Metropolitan Museum of Manila is inviting visitors to immerse themselves in creativity and culture as it opens its doors with free admission every Tuesday of the month.

Located in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, admission will be free on February 4, 11, and 18, 2025.

This initiative not only marks a tribute to the vibrant world of Philippine art but also coincides with Art Fair Philippines 2025, offering a rare opportunity to explore the museum’s stunning collections and programs without charge.

Visitors are required to register online to secure their slots for the free admission days, as The M will not accommodate walk-ins on these dates.

“There will be a limit to the slots offered. We regret that we might not be able to accept walk-ins on these Tuesdays for proper invigilation of spaces and mutual safety and security of visitors and art objects,” the M shared on its social media page.

For regular days, the price of admission is PHP550. They offer discounts for students and for persons-with-disability. For students, an all-access day pass costs PHP275, while for PWDs, a similar ticket would cost PHP440.

The M is open Tuesday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Metropolitan Museum of Manila is a non-profit museum. It opened to the public in October 2022, and has since then welcomed more than 50,000 local and international visitors, featuring 15 contemporary art exhibitions.
