RUSSIAN-AMERICAN vlogger Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, famously known as ‘VitalyzdTv,’ recently got arrested amidst his so-called pranks in Bonifacio Global City (BGC).
Following his viral prank video, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) confirmed the 33-year-old’s arrest after short clips of his live stream titled “Disrupting peace in the Philippines” trended online.
In the video, the foreign national was seen grabbing a security guard’s hat, attempting to take another guard’s firearm, and threatening to rob a woman before claiming it to be a joke. He was also seen approaching a woman and saying, “Madam, I wanna f**king rob you” and “I’m gonna give you money. No? Okay, cause you’ve got a COVID mask, you liberal f**k. Go get your vaccine.”
Aside from the BGC incident, the YouTuber was also involved in another situation in which he crashed a tricycle that he was driving onto a parked jeepney.
In a statement released by BI Commissioner Joel Viado, those who come to violate the Filipinos’ hospitality and violate their laws will be held accountable. “The Philippines welcomes visitors from all over the world, but those who abuse our hospitality and violate our laws will be held accountable.”
Vitaly is now being held at the BI detention center in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City, awaiting his deportation proceedings. He is also forbidden to film for content.
BGC authorities confirmed that they are filing charges against him.
Following a police blotter field by a BGC security guard, in coordination with the Philippine National Police (PNP) Makait and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), the YouTuber showed no remorse for the troubles he caused.
