“BLACKPINK in your area!” After more than two years since the ‘Born Pink’ era, K-pop sensation Blackpink is set to ablaze the stage once again for their highly anticipated ‘Deadline’ world tour on November 22-23, 2025 at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.
This sparks excitement among Filipino fans, known as BLINKS, to see the four members, Lisa, Rose, Jennie, and Jisoo reunite on stage for a show-stopping performance following their solo projects that left fans yearning for their much-awaited comeback.
The BLINKS responses to the event are excitement, happiness, and mixed emotions. Coming like a bombshell, this upcoming concert awakens the fans’ enthusiasm, evoking a wave of discussion and allowing them to share their responses across platforms. To know some of the Filo BLINKS’ reactions, the following are their thoughts regarding the world tour.
Excitement
“I’m really excited for the upcoming tour because it has been a long time since they performed as a group. I really look forward to the new things they have to offer and we (BLINKS) have higher expectations now after seeing how capable they are from their successful solo debuts,” Hannah Aliswag, BLINK, shared with Republicasia.
For others, the announcement of a world tour is merely words that they hear, but for BLINKS, who have waited for years, it is music to their ears—the one that ignites the hope in their hearts, giving them happiness to witness and celebrate the journey with the group members together.
Mixed Emotions
“Honestly, mixed emotions. I am really excited about it, because it always feels like a major event — not just for BLINKS, but for KPOP and pop culture in general. With “The Deadline” World Tour, there’s a mix of thrill and nostalgia as well because they have their career on their own. The title itself is kinda symbolic, like it might be a dark end of an era or a major turning point for the group. Nevertheless, I feel happy, hyped, and emotional at the same time. I feel super proud, knowing this might be the last time we see all four of them performing together,” Maria Melendres, BLINK, told Republicasia.
With Blackpink being a global phenomenon for years, it is no surprise that there are speculations about their disbandment particularly with their prospering solo careers. Nonetheless, BLINKS are still there to cheer them on, showing their unwavering love and support.
Frustration
“More frustrated because there are no details of the comeback, but there is already the start of selling tickets in PH. There is also excitement that we haven’t seen them together in a long while. Nevertheless, I’m more anxious about the details and logistics because it seems that the preparations are rushed,” Yesha Santos, BLINK, shared with Republicasia.
Following Blackpink’s growth and success, fans are excited and anticipate more dynamic energy and songs that they don’t want to miss after being away for too long as a group. The lack of details in the event while the presale and general tickets are coming up, makes some fans discontent with how the world tour will play out since the three girls have just recently finished with Coachella.
However, amidst all the reactions, there is no doubt that Blackpink has made a significant impact in the music industry, becoming one of the most popular girl groups in the 21st century and breaking records that the younger generations of K-pop can follow.
