FILO EXO-Ls, ready your wallets again because the EXO “tingi” era is not yet over.
INB100, the label of Chen from K-pop boy group EXO, announced on Monday that he will return to the Philippines for his upcoming fan concert called “Beyond the Door.”
The event will be held on November 23 at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City.
The EXO’s vocalist returned to the music industry with the release of his fourth mini album “DOOR” in May 2024. It contained six tracks, including Chen’s collaboration song, “PLAYLIST,” with South Korean rappers HAON and BE’O.
Details about ticket prices and the seat plan for the fan concert have yet to be revealed.
Before Manila, Chen will meet his fans in Taipei, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur.
EXO’s leader Suho and vocalists Baekhyun, D.O. and Xiumin were also in Manila for their individual events prior to Chen’s visit.
The EXO “tingi” version in the country will continue with Chen and Chanyeol, who is scheduled to hold his “City-scape” tour on October 19 at the Araneta Coliseum.
About Chen
Chen, whose real name is Kim Jong-dae, last visited the Philippines for the “Be You 2: The World Will Care,” along with his fellow EXO member Xiumin, pop duo TVXQ, and singer-songwriter BoA.
Born in 1992, Chen debuted in EXO in 2012 under the South Korean entertainment agency SM Entertainment. He later became part of its subunit EXO-CBX, along with Xiumin and Baekhyun.
Chen is also known for lending his voice to original soundtracks of several beloved Korean dramas like “Everytime” for “Descendants of the Sun,” “Cherry Blossom Love Song” for “100 Days My Prince,” “Make it Count” for “Touch Your Heart,” “The Way to Love Myself” for “Doctor Slump,” and “Don’t Remember” for “Romance in the House.”
He debuted as a solo artist in April 2019, with his first mini album “April, and a flower.”
In January 2024, Chen signed with INB100, the label founded by Baekhyun, along with Xiumin for their individual activities. The agency also manages the activities of EXO-CBX.
