FILIPINO drag queen Lady Gagita, who has gained recognition for her stunning impersonations of pop icon Lady Gaga, experienced a dream come true when she met her idol in Singapore during Gaga’s Mayhem concert.
She shared the special moment on Instagram, posting a photo of herself cheek-to-cheek with the pop star.
“We were happy just to be alive,” captioned Lady Gagita and tagging Lady Gaga’s official account.
“Tonight is historical. I finally had my moment,” she added.
In the photo, Lady Gagita was dressed as Lady Gaga, embodying the look and spirit of the pop icon she has long admired.
Known as one of the Philippines’ top Lady Gaga impersonators, Lady Gagita has built a reputation for her electrifying performances and dedication to celebrating Gaga’s artistry and message of self-expression and empowerment.
Aside from Lady Gagita, other Filipino celebrities were present in the Mayhem concert. Vice Ganda was also spotted arriving at the National Stadium, exciting the Filipino fans more.
Singapore is Lady Gaga’s only stop in Asia for her Mayhem World Tour. She is set to perform two more shows at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on May 21 and 24.
The concert also marked Gaga’s return to the city-state after 13 years, her last visit being in 2012 for the Born This Way Ball.
