INTERNATIONAL projects keep pouring in for Dolly de Leon, who has just been cast in the Apple TV+ dark comedy thriller series “Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed.”

She will step into the character of Detective Sofia Gonzales, a regular role in the series. 

De Leon will star alongside Canadian actress Tatiana Maslany, known for her role in Orphan Black. 

“There’s nothing like the prospect of working with people whose work you admire — Hunters, Orphan Black, The Marvel Cinematic Universe! I’m beyond excited!” she said in an official statement. 

De Leon and Maslany will be joined by American actor Jake Johnson, known for his roles in “New Girl” series and the 2018 film “Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse.”

The series will follow a divorced mom (Maslany) as “gets caught up in a perilous web of blackmail, murder, and youth soccer.”

It will be helmed by David Rosen. 

De Leon first rose to fame in 2022, when she took on the role of Abigail— a cruise cleaner turned into survivalist dictator— in Robert Ostlund’s “Triangle of Sadness.” 

Her portrayal earned her international recognition, including a Golden Globe and British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) nominations. 

For the same role, she won the Guldbagge Award and Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards for Best Supporting Performance. 
Following these successes, de Leon is featured in more international projects like “Nine Perfect Strangers,” “Between the Temples,” and the upcoming season of Netflix’s Avatar adaptation.
