How to access Digital National ID
The Digital National ID can both be access on mobile phones and computer through internet connection.
The ID is a proof of one’s identification and age, that can be shown in government and private transactions.
For computers, the digital ID can be accessed through https://national-id.gov.ph/ while the ‘eGovPH’ app can be installed on Google Play and the App store.
To be able to access your National ID, one should provide their full name and date of birth. After that, the user will undergo a face verification on where they will take a live selfie.

To authenticate the National ID, government agencies such as NGAs, LGUs, GOCCs, and SUCs and as well as private organizations use eVerify to both verify identifications as well as the National ID.

The eVerify uses face biometrics to check if the face matches the National ID registry. This helps to prevent fraud and onboarding processes smother.
