by Bryan Gadingan

“My sincere apology to Jemima M. Atok, AB English graduate and my advisee, for the emotional pain that I have caused you and your family. I am very sorry to publish your thesis in my name,” sabi sa sulat.

“I am truly sorry that I failed to recognize you as the author and the owner of the published paper/article. Instead, I claimed it as my own.”

“I honestly acknowledge my fault and rest assured that this may never happen again in the history of academic endeavor,” paliwanag ni Mendoza.

“Intellectual property theft. She should be barred from entering any academic and learning institutions. That’s also intellectual dishonesty. Can’t you come up with your own thesis proposal? And you even had the nerve to work for the academe?” sabi ng isang user.

“This happened to me as to my high school thesis, too. They submitted my thesis pang Intel Science Fair under a different name. Some teachers cannot come up with original research so they use students’ output for themselves,” sabi sa comments.
