TICKETS to both nights of Cup of Joe’s “Stardust” concert sold out within a day of release.
The OPM band announced the news on their official Instagram page.
“Joewahs… YOU DID THAT,” they captioned, pertaining to their official fandom name.
“In just ONE DAY, you’ve turned both nights of Cup of Joe: STARDUST third major concert into a full-blown SOLD OUT show,” they added.
Cup of Joe also hinted at more to come, saying that the “cosmic journey isn’t over yet.”
Stardust is set for October 10 and 11 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. This marks the band’s third major concert, following the success of “Silakbo” held earlier this year on February 8 and 9, which also sold out both nights.
Formed in 2018, Cup of Joe first made waves in the Baguio indie music scene before gaining national attention with viral tracks like “Nag-iisang Muli,” “Ikaw Pa Rin Ang Pipiliin Ko,” and “Estranghero.”
Their music, often described as emotionally charged and nostalgic, blends mellow synth-pop with heartfelt Filipino lyricism.
In January 2025, the group released their debut full-length album “Silakbo”, a 10-track concept album structured around the five stages of grief.
The record was praised for its emotional depth and sonic cohesion, with the single “Multo” topping the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 for ten consecutive weeks.
It also made history as the first Filipino track to enter the Billboard Global 200.
