CLAIRO officially announced her third album ‘Charm’, which will be released on July 12, 2024. She also dropped the first single in the album titled ‘Sexy to Someone’.
The indie pop sensation also reveals the album’s complete track listing. The album has been described as a “collection of warm, 70’s-inspired grooves,” which are considered within the genres of jazz, psychedelic-folk, and soul. This marks Clairo’s entering the sonic sounds.
‘Charm’ is also a follow-up to her 2020 critically acclaimed album ‘Sling’ which was co-produced by renowned producer and Bleachers frontman Jack Antonoff. Meanwhile, ‘Charm’ is co-produced by Leon Michels (of the funk-soul group El Michels Affair).
Clairo first gained recognition in the music industry through her viral music video of her self-produced track ‘Pretty Girl’ which will also lead to the release of her first extended play (EP), ‘diary 001’. Her EP earned popularity as a “bedroom pop anthem”. This includes her hits “4EVER” and “Flaming Hot Cheetos”.
She recently released a live extended play of her performance at Electric Lady Studios in New York. The live EP includes special renditions of her hit songs “Bags”, “Amoeba”, and “Blouse” among others.
She also made a guest feature on a new rendition of Beabadoobee‘s viral hit “Glue Song“, and also appeared on the re-recorded version of Phoenix’s “After Midnight” from their 2022 album, Alpha Zulu.
