WE ALL know that Christmas is just around the corner. As a matter of fact, if you were to compute the days before the holiday, you would only have to wait 34 days for Santa to hand over your gift.
The whole Santa belief is mostly applicable to youngsters alone; waiting for Santa Claus to arrive isn’t really something that adults are looking forward to. In reality, they’ve already been disappointed since it was actually their parents who were sneaking the gifts into their Christmas socks.
However, just like children, there is actually something that makes adults get excited as the Christmas season approaches. Heck, some might even have it written on their calendars.
While working 8 hours a day and 5 days a week isn’t really a pleasant experience for many, there is no denying that a little reward can lighten up one’s mood. Admit it—even you wouldn’t turn down a little bonus.
Thirteenth-month pay, also known as the Christmas bonus, is one of the things that working adults look forward to receiving. The 13th month pay for employees is mandated by law and must be released on or before December 24.
Meanwhile, there are some people on the internet who’ve been making memes and jokes about how they cannot wait to receive their Christmas bonus.
